I could sit here and watch these all day (I'm sure that's part of your plan), but one thing is clear -- Vincente Minneli was the greatest non-choreographer director of musicals ever -- and he wasn't so bad with the other stuff, either.
Bob-- I totally agree-- Minnelli was a genius,and not only the greatest director of film musicals ever (followed closely by Kelly/Donen and Fosse), but one of my favorite directors in any genre. Hope you enjoyed all the clips!
